Abscent Reusable Mask
Abscent has created the protective mask that use the same carbon/ RAW material as in their odour absorbing bags.
The Mask features 5-layer filtration system and is suitable for use while shopping and travelling. When properly cleaned and cared for it can be reused multiple times.
The layers:
- Antimicrobial Nylon (acts as pre-filter for large particles, prevents the spreading of bacteria, fungi, and some viruses)
- Nonwoven Polypropylene Fabric (Superior air permeability, filters out microscopic particles, prevents airborne droplets, limits the user from spreading disease)
- 1 mm Activated Carbon Fabric (Adsorbs gaseous molecules, bacteria and viruses are drawn to the porous carbon fabric, the carbon cloth traps the bacteria and draws out the gel-like cytoplasm inside- killing it and preventing infection)
- Nonwoven Polypropylene Fabric (additional layer of defence against microscopic particles)
- Antimicrobial Nylon (Interior layer- wicks away moisture, air permeability)
Washing instructions:
Do not soak in water. Mix antibacterial soap with warm water (80F /27C). Wash all parts of the OUTER fabric and elastic thoroughly. Let your mask dry naturally, hang dry in the sun if possible.
